Triton BP

This is a segmented Triton BP - Bird's Eye Maple and Amboyna Burl. The Triton has a "blingy" gold engraved CB and finial, I replaced those with a custom maple CB and Amboyna Burl finial.

Simple segmenting on some Metro/Virage rollerballs. The first is Ancient Kauri flanked by Irish Bog Oak and the second is Irish Bog Oak flanked by Blood Jasper TruStone.

This is a pen my wife wanted me to make for her. She picked out the fittings and blank, I added the segmenting. The blank is a Wildwood with perforated ribbon added into the casting. The pen is a Navigator from Woodcraft with Gold and Black trim. I cut the blank in half lenghtwise, than added a 3-ply WBW pick guard. Next I turned the blank 90 degrees, cut in half again, and added another BWB pic guard. I cut off two sections of blank 1/4 inch wide, turned them 45 degrees, and added 6 white pick guard spacers in between. Turned to size , sanded to 12000, and added a coat of One Step polish. I had to promice on my death bed that I would return it to her purse as soon as I took the photos. I think she likes it, how about you?? Jim S
