The hole goes over the top of a dye bottle to stop the de splashing on to hands and surfaces when the bottle is open?
I believe it would be a tool to tighten the wing nuts on a pressure pot.

So far, no one got it right however, David Keller mention "stabilizing", it has something to do with it...!
Most of the folks stabilizing at home, would have an advantage, as this is a simple and economic way to resolve one of their problems/complaints...!:wink:

i woodnt no what woods need it and what ones dont, nor wood i know how to do it
I also believe they are for changing oil on a vehicle, you use them to drain excess liquids off your materials during stabilizing.
