What is your favorite wood to turn and why?

I'm amazed no one has mentioned mango. I have only turned it a couple times, but the aroma was spectacular!!

Anything curly, and the curlier the better! Top of that list would be Koa. Why? Because there is just something about curl that draws me. Top of the non-curly list is HRB. Why, because it is beau-t-ful!

One of my friends says that Zebrawood smells like the back end of the zebra. I wouldn't go that far, but I don't find it particularly pleasant.

I don't have to dea lwith the smell as I have my Shop VAc hooked up to draw off any odor of wood and CA glue. With that, I'm not too enthused about turning off the SV.
