Several years ago I made pendants out of exotic woods and turquoise. Knife scales were the right thickness and available in many types of wood. Looking through a box of left over wood from back then I came across some tulipwood and some black olive burl that I glued up to make a couple of blanks. Unfortunately the glue joints show.
