Many moons ago I purchased an after-market tool rest for my Jet mini lathe (5/8" inch post size) The threaded portion of post end
has a 3/8 by 24 thread count (see pictures below). I recently upgrade to a Laguna
lathe with uses a 1 inch post. The original tool rest had the ability to unscrew the tool rest from the post to change the length of the rest.
I purchased a few different lengths of tool rest and I hoping someone can identify the manufacturer so I can see if they sell a 1" post so
I don't have to purchase additional tool rests. I seem to remember a selection of tool rest post sizes being offered.
