Source for pistons

Hey! I'm new around these parts and tried the search but with no luck. Is there a source for buying piston mechanisms (not convertors)? I'm having the hardest time finding them, especially anything with a gold piston band. Thanks!

I don't remember seeing a source for pistons since Richard Greenwald retired. I have seen pens made by people who machined their own piston mechanisms. I considered buying a few cheap piston filler pens online and breaking them up for parts (same for vacuum fill plungers) and I'd do it if a customer requested that type of pen. Hasn't happened so far though.

I am sure you did, but maybe you didn't try Ellington or Fountain Pen Hospital?
