Finally got around to posting photos of my DIY shop thingies. The sanding disk is made of plywood and secured to a faceplate. The sanding table is plywood and some fasteners. The lamp is an old desk lamp that clamps to the edge of a desk or table top. I made the plywood "L" and dropped the lamp mount on the bolt. An LED bulb gives a ton of light plus able to focus light on any area being turned.

Thanks. Once in a while I get an idea. The "miter" on the disk sander can be aligned at 90 degrees with the disk by an Groz square.
