Hey everyone! We have a few updates to share around our pen kit line....

The big one: Constant Laubscher has decided to retire from making pen kits so we're having to switch machinists.

What that means is that yes, we're going to be out of stock for a while. Thankfully, Constant is helping us arrange for a new machine shop to make the kits. We were worried that we couldn't get anyone that would work with low minimums but I think we've got a plan that keeps the kits alive. In fact, if all goes to plan we should never be out of stock again. The plan is to make a full year's worth of inventory and then purchase them in chunks throughout the year. If there's a sudden rush, we'll already have parts on the shelf at the machine shop. We're not sure if pricing will change a bit but if it does it should be minimal.... more to come on that as we finalize the details.

All that said... we do have parts for Liberty Twist/Click and Coyote Twist here to put into kits. We'll be getting them together and updating the inventory shortly. We are completely out of Desire... unless I can convince Constant to make a few parts... I'll see what I can do ;) You can also find our kits at Classic Nib, Turner's Warehouse, and Craft Supplies... though I suspect their inventory may be low as well.

Apologies for the inconvenience. I had my panic moment when he told me he was done making kits... but I think long run this is going to work out for the best.

I've seen them at Klingspoor's in Winston Salem for anyone in this area.
They have a few... but I know they're out of Desire too. :) We've got Desire as first on the list from the new shop. Hoping to have final quotes this week and I've heard they already ordered the steel. Now, what I don't know is what pricing is going to look like. Steel prices are up and still waiting to see how they are priced compared to what Constant was making them for. Fingers crossed it's minimal but I expect we'll probably have to go from 19 to 20 per single tube kit and maybe eat the rest if it's not terrible.
