Thank God I had the V.A. to fall back on. There can't be a better hospital in the U.S.A. than the V.A. in Tucson. Tops.

Must be true, My wife has a close friend in Houston whose husband is having some problems with his eyes, with all the great hospitals in Houston, they still flew Archie to Tucson for 30 days for some rehab and therapy. Even flew his wife out for 2 weeks to teach her how to take care of him.

Hope Bullhead doesn't have CCN for your coverage. Might check. Gotta fight them tooth/nail for payment. That's who the City of Safford had when I had my 2nd back surgery. In fact the Tucson Orthapedic Institute, Where my Dr. is, qiut accepting CCN since then. I was the first fireman to retire and keep on the ins. if I paid the monthly prem. It went up over $1,000 a month. Thank God I had the V.A. to fall back on. There can't be a better hospital in the U.S.A. than the V.A. in Tucson. Tops. Glad you're doing better. Like they say 'time heals everything".

Bullhead City carries Blue Cross/Blue Shield. So I'm in good hands. Have heard mostly good things about the coverage. And one of the ladies in HR is my direct contact with the insurance company. She was super nice and helpful when I first told them about the surgery. She helped me get everything in order, all of the short term disability paper work and family medical leave act paper work. It was all just in case something happened and I had to take more time off. The family med leave has to be used for any medical leave, no matter how long. It's all greak to me, I don't understand most of it. That's why it's nice to have her there. All the ladies in HR love us guys in the maintenance departments. They must know we actually "work" for our pay checks.
Anyway, I got side tracked. Feel about 75% today. Still some discomfort in the repaired areas. Abs are still prety sore. Hope to be back in the shop by tommarrow.
