Wednesday morning I suddenly lost my husband of 62 years. I don't know how I am going to get along without him. Apparently his heart just stopped. We had just finished breakfast and were reading when he gave a little gasp, I looked over and he took one more breath and just stopped breathing.
So sorry Sharon, our prayers are with you this day.

I am very sorry. There are no words that I can offer to console you. I will prayer that somehow you find peace and are able to reflect on decades of wonderful memories. Much peace, warmth, and love to you.

How awful. I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing.

62 years is an amazing run. I hope you are able to find some peace soon in the midst of this crushing loss.

I am so blessed to have so many friends and relatives who are supporting me. So far I am coping better than I expected to. Last year he had a bad MRSA infection and was in rehab with daily antibiotic infusions for sixteen weeks. I saw him every day, but adjusted to sleeping alone. I think that is what is helping me now.

I'm coping. Just to make life more interesting, the tendon in my broken wrist ruptured. I have only partial movement of my right thumb. The surgeon is booked up all this month, so I won't be able to get it repaired until the first week of January. He is the best hand surgeon in the state, so worth waiting for. It won't get any worse between now and then.

Sorry to here about the delay but it does give you time to explore all the benefits of " black friday or whatever yo7 call it,over there " and plan your future projects .

Wishing you a rapid recovery on all fronts.

Wow, you just can't catch a break. It seems like it wasn't all that long ago that you had an accident, too. I'll keep praying for you.

It's been a month now and I am settling into my new life alone. I am going to CA to spend Christmas with my niece and her family. I have surgery in January on my ruptured tendon in my hand.
