Just finished my first leather pen. Thanks for all the suggestions and guidance from all.

Light cuts (scrapes) and liberal application of ca glue. Avoided ca accelerator and let it air dry for 10 minutes or so before turning again.

Wow , that's exquisite work .

I'd never considered leather for a pen . Handles and sheaths yes but wow that's a great looking result
 
That came out awesome. Love the classic look. It'll be cool to see after its been used for a bit and the leather holds oil. Love my KA-BAR
 
I've always been impressed with the stacked leather pens. I seen one in 2017 (I think was the year), at the Ohio MPG where a turner had (what I remember) around 60 something layers. He took first place or Best of Show in the contest that year. I haven't seen many since. Yours turned out great! I really like the pick guard or plastic white and black accents. Thanks for sharing!
