Mr Cub pen

I completed this pen last month and realized I'd not posted it up here.

This is a Diamond Knurl Stainless Steel pen with a blank from Stadium Pen Blanks. The blank has pieces of Wrigley Field on the ends and a section of an Ernie Banks game played jersey within the baseball under Ernie's number. A friend of mine asked me to make it for him to give as gift to his boss

Awesome pen (But, go Guardians...). I'm curious if you used a decal, etc for the white 'window' or if you cut it in? But the overall appearance is great. Well done.

Oh yeah go Cubs! I purchased a section of replaced bleacher seating years ago from Wrigley. I made an Emperor pen for my nephew. We're all big Cub fans since we lived there years ago. I cut that piece of bench slightly on the bias just to give it more character. I have a bunch left and keep looking at it and wanting to do something with it. Now you've inspired me to come up with something.

I'm old school, Cleveland is still the home of the 'tribe! (too much a fan of Major League)

The blank on that pen comes directly from Michael Hardin at Stadium Pen Blanks. He had the section of jersey and Wrigley seats all on the tube and in resin.

Agreed - I do love the look of them and they add a great touch to our work. It gives the person receiving the pen something proving the provenance too
