Third attempt at a modified slimline.
I'm a wood guy, but I really dig that. Terrific work.
I followed this video. You twist the nib to operate. Once you watch the video you kinda get a oh why didn't I think of that moment. I did have to purchase a longer 7mm Fisch Pen Bit so could drill on the lathe without flipping it around and drilling from both sides.That's outstanding. Is there a tutorial on how to do that? I can't figure out how the twist would work.

Nice...the one piece slimline is a favorite of mine to make.
I forgot to look at what the sticker said it was before turning it. I just wanted to turn something =) and even forgot to paint my blank and tubes. And now I can't wait to go try the new tool rest I got from Rick.Very Cool. The blank reminds me of an Inlace blank called Molten Metal. - Dave
