McKenzie Penworks Thermoset resin

Yesterday I made my first pour using McKenzie Penworks Thermoset resin (my second pour ever - I used epoxy resin the first time.)

4 colors using Smooth-On "So Strong" dyes (as recommended by Tim McK), with Eye Candy mica added. Pressure pot at 55psi for 4.5 hours.

I'm very happy with this result so far - of course the proof will be when I turn it into pens.

I cut off one blank and turned it round - sanded and polished to show off before I drill and tube it. (Not sure if the video will play, but it allows me to upload so let's give it a try )
