Are you specifically looking for lilac wood that has the purple/pink staining? I had two lilac bushes that were not doing so great the last few years, and I cut them down to near ground level. I have a bunch of the branches...none are particularly large, maybe up to two inches in diameter. (Still pretty green.) I intend to try and dig up the stumps. I am hoping they are nice and figured, but I don't know if they will actually have any of that purple/pink staining.
