Hi Friends,

In Aboriginal art, dragonflies can symbolize transformation, movement, good health, and connection to nature. They can also represent the cycle of life, and the importance of letting go of the old to allow the new to come through.
  • Transformation
Dragonflies change form throughout their life, representing becoming your true self

  • Movement
Dragonflies are often used to represent dynamism, motion, and change

  • Good health
Dragonflies are a welcome visitor to many Aboriginal communities across Australia

  • Connection to nature
Dragonflies represent a connection to nature and the ability to see the true nature of situations

  • Cycle of life
Dragonflies represent the cycle of life through the letting go of the old to allow the new to come through
Hope you enjoy this pen

Cheers,
Sean

Sean, I always look forward to opening your posts, and I am never disappointed.
Lovely paintings, lovely colours, lovely pens...I even like the leather pouch!!!!!!!

Truly unique! I am assuming you painted these yourself? The kit you chose is excellent as well. Nicely done!
No I did not, I wish I could. This is an award winning Aboriginal artist Tina Carmody-Elliot who paints the tubes for me. She lives here in Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields. We have collaborated together to do this functional art pens.
