Alright all, I don't think anyone had this idea...and I haven't tried to cast yet, but have all the stuff to give it shot when I return from the desert. Anyhow...let me know what you think of this idea....
Make your blank normal, and as it is gelling up, drag a thing straw through it with a different colored resin a bunch of times. I would try to make sure the mold setting is partially set before dragging the thinner resin through...just a though. Something to think about, and if someone has already tried this please let me know so I don't waste my efforts when I return. Thanks all.
