I am looking for a good portable storage solution for my pens that I make for sale; preferably something like a briefcase. I attended my first craft show this weekend for selling my pens. It was a very small community show for the development I live in. There were only 17 "booths" with vendors and home crafters. I ended up selling 7 pens which I quess isn't too bad for a small show, but I did have a number of people take my business card, one of which is a local business owner interested in buying pens as Christmas gifts for his employees. That said, I would like to get a portable case that I can store and carry my pens to other shows or to a potential client's office to show them. I looked at the hardsided cases from Penn state Industries, but they have several negative reviews for issues like handles coming loose or mounting boards coming unglued. Any recommendations or feedback you can provide on solutions you've found work well would be very much appreciated.

I these from Penn State. I've had them for years. They work well no negatives except the price.

i bought a few of these. I believe they are for cigars. They are very well made. Cigar Case
Oooh... now that's an idea. I wonder if the seal and humidity disk would be helpful in keeping fountain pens from drying out so fast.

Two questions for you sir
- does the foam in the case hold the pens well enough to keep them from sliding into each other?
- and the description in the title says it can hold 40 cigars, but the text says it holds 36 smaller cigars - what have you been able to fit in?

And just to share - I book marked this idea from a Thomas Anderson off of the facebook pen turning group. It's a pop-up rack and display in one.

The maker is selling the plans for $25 and the actual rack for $125/$150 (assembled). I'm tempted to pick up the plans.

Here's a couple of screen shots to save you the video
