I can only hope the good times y'all shared and the knowledge he no longer suffers will give you peace in this time of grieving.
My condolences.
 
No more suffering and being out of pain is a blessing for him and a blessing made double being surrounded by loved ones. His physical passing is an ache in your soul but his legacy is within you and everyone he touched through the various aspects of his life. As you come to "lean" on those memories you may find yourself (as I do) looking up when you do something he taught you and saying "Thanks, Dad".

We had the internment and mememorial service for my father yesterday -- I know where you are at and am guessing how you are feeling. Blessings on you and yours!!
