Using the same blank as my first European, here is my first Polaris (AKA Atlas / Carbara / Patriot, depending on where you buy it).

Having cut my teeth with this kit type, I cobbled out another one using a blank I made some time ago:

I really really like the weight and feel of these kits and they're sooo easy to turn. Unlike the slimlines and Europeans, they don't clickety click when you write. I guess that's what you pay a little bit more for...!
Oh, yeah. I hadn't realised the size of the tubes for these, so I had to make a set of bushings for this kit type:
