We have had a wind induced power outage for a couple of days - my shop does not share the 22 kW whole house generator. ☹️

This fishing rod rack is a gift for a friend. He already has a tackle box and jig box made from quarter-sawn African mahogany so this piece used the same wood. It holds 18 rods in a perfectly safe vertical orientation. I deliver it after another coat this weekend.

Before and after application of wipe on polyurethane.

The elk visited this morning near the shop. They are BIG!!!

Sanding beast after the first coat with 400 grit was tiresome, but after thoroughly cleaning it coat two is on. Delivery is tomorrow.
