If it even comes with a diamond wheel, how good can that be. We talked about differences in diamond sharpeners.
 
From reading the instructions it looks like it is very easy to get an uneven bit because the amount of sharpening is determined by how long you sharpen and how hard you press on each side. With a drill Doctor you just rotate the bit an even number of half turns. A DD seems much more accurate. I love mine.
 
Can't say much about the HF sharpener .... never used one. Had a Drill Doctor for years. It works GREAT. Found a second one at a garage sale and bought it for $5. Gave it to a good friend and he loves it!
 
Thanks for the responses. I was actually looking for something else on the website and it came up in the search (weird things come up in HF searches) and I just thought I would ask. Didn't even know anyone besides Drill Dr. made anything like it.

The HF drill sharpener will sharpen bits, but you could be more accurate doing it by hand on the grinder. Drill DR. will sharpen bits at different angles, with split points, custom angles, and mason bits, with no guessing or fussing. Jim S

Son came up for funerals this week, HF sharpener went home with him. May it rest in peace !!:cool: Jim S
