My air filter shorted out about two months ago.  Jet customer service sent me a replacement board right away and when that wasn't the solution, they sent me both a replacement board and motor.
No hassle on my part though more than some hassle on theirs going by the size of the box the motor was shipped in. A 8 inch or so motor was sent in a 3'x3'x3' box filled with styrofoam.
