Mrs G wanted a specific size and design serving tray for a flower show she plans to enter early May.
This is just shy of the maximum size allowed: 22" X 20".
It's a Cypress tray with beadboard bottom having compound mitered corners—something I hadn't done before.
The beadboard bottom is reclaimed from a cabinet her Dad built in 1999–thus, lots of memories and sentimental value.
There will be a clear finish applied.
While I was at it, she wanted a smaller one as a container for something else. Same material. I'm working on the lid for it now. Hopefully, it fits when I take the clamps off.
Lots of good lessons learned on this. I now have a repeatable process and they're fun to build.
