Listing the Trivia Contest every day is a bit redundant. Lets just announce that the Daily Trivia Contest is held............Daily.

On a similar note, I'm assuming that just about every contest is going to begin on Feb. 1st. Should we make that assumed unless mentioned otherwise in the contest thread, or should we all be posting our begin date on the 1st?

I know there are a few contests that run several times over the course of the bash, so those would obviously have start/end entries, and maybe in the end, since it won't be live until Feb 1, having Feb 1 be a huge list may not be the worst thing in the world, and be more clear to everyone than what they may or may not assume...

Ideally we could stagger the beginning and ending times of contests. One of the complaints is that there are periods of the month when there isn't a whole lot going on. Not every contest has to start on the first. Those with polls probably should because we are setting them up in the public forum now and when Jeff moves them into public view the polls will be active. We also have to be mindful of the amount of time we allow members to complete pens for various contests. It is really a judgement call on the [art of the contest chairmen.
