Can you design a geared tail stock similar to a lathe. I would prefer to "dial in" the disassembly than use my arms to pull? Thanks. Frank

Rick is pretty amazing - I asked him about a mandrel I needed on Wednesday, he reached out to me within the hour and gave me what he needed to produce it. It's been made, shipped and will arrive my house tomorrow! Four days for a custom part!!! Incredible! Great resource for us all......keep him busy!

Hope he is able to create what you need as well!

We're getting there. I have to get back to him....I'm very confident he can help me. I have a plan. He is definitely the best.

Why not just pm Rick? He would get your question immediately. If Rick can I'd like to see it too.
Something simple....should work well. Will use a ratcheting wrench or socket. Or maybe add a wheel/dial onto the hex head. Will post when complete. 2nd from right is off center...it's done for illustration.

What a cool idea! I would love to use something like this instead of holding the blank in one hand and pounding on a transfer punch with a small hammer with the other hand.

Exactly what I'm getting away from. Why damage the hands. We need them.

This assembly is being shipped today. I'll post when it's mounted. I appreciate quality people. Rick sets the standard. A master craftsman that knows how to produce a perfectly finished product in a more than timely fashion. This is a beautiful piece of work. We are fortunate to have him onboard.

Just in. Have not used it but it looks perfect. Adding to the pleasure this will serve...Rick's fee shipped is friendly priced.

Used it today to disassemble... worked like a champ. Had to remove the tip and coupler from a Botanical pen. Had to make an adjustment on the blank.

I fully understand the concept of what you've had Rick build. Could you post a video?

Would love to see it too!
Should have it today. My expectations are high. I'm sure they will be met... it's been hassle free so far. It's probably not a big deal for Rick but is for me. Rick has been great as always. Will post when set up. I used it once so far and it worked out very well... disassembled with ease... did not score the blank. Took little effort to get the fittings out. The dial technique is slow and deliberate... perfect for my arthritic fingers, hands, wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck...WHAT ELSE😂

With the bearing. Also have an interchangeable 60degree cone. No idea what I'll use it for but I have it if needed. This modified press works great. I'm
looking forward to mishaps and pushing things apart 😂
