Done thanks.... I posted as maybe others might be interested. Why not just pm Rick? He would get your question immediately. If Rick can I'd like to see it too.
We're getting there. I have to get back to him....I'm very confident he can help me. I have a plan. He is definitely the best.Rick is pretty amazing - I asked him about a mandrel I needed on Wednesday, he reached out to me within the hour and gave me what he needed to produce it. It's been made, shipped and will arrive my house tomorrow! Four days for a custom part!!! Incredible! Great resource for us all......keep him busy!
Hope he is able to create what you need as well!

Something simple....should work well. Will use a ratcheting wrench or socket. Or maybe add a wheel/dial onto the hex head. Will post when complete. 2nd from right is off center...it's done for illustration. Why not just pm Rick? He would get your question immediately. If Rick can I'd like to see it too.
Exactly what I'm getting away from. Why damage the hands. We need them. What a cool idea! I would love to use something like this instead of holding the blank in one hand and pounding on a transfer punch with a small hammer with the other hand.
It's better to "turn" the trans in than push. I would constantly over insert when using the lever.I can see a use for this in doing the final setting of transmission's.
It's going well. Rick is fabricating a 60degree and flat surface "tip" on a bearing. It'll be interchangeable.Very Cool. Anxious to hear how it works for you. - Dave
I fully understand the concept of what you've had Rick build. Could you post a video?Used it today to disassemble... worked like a champ. Had to remove the tip and coupler from a Botanical pen. Had to make an adjustment on the blank.
Certainly will post after I get the bearing.I fully understand the concept of what you've had Rick build. Could you post a video?
Would love to see it too!Certainly will post after I get the bearing.
Should have it today. My expectations are high. I'm sure they will be met... it's been hassle free so far. It's probably not a big deal for Rick but is for me. Rick has been great as always. Will post when set up. I used it once so far and it worked out very well... disassembled with ease... did not score the blank. Took little effort to get the fittings out. The dial technique is slow and deliberate... perfect for my arthritic fingers, hands, wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck...WHAT ELSEWould love to see it too!
