Uh...Vick WAS fired. (released)

I always thought that when people pay their debt to society (whatever penalty is decided they need to pay), they were allowed to return to society and become contributing members.

Do we have new rules now?

Change subject:

Why do so many people think that Tony Romo is da bomb? It appears that he's proven that he CAN'T get it done. I have nothing against him and I do root against the Cowboys but I admire talent when I see it. Troy Aikman was awesome. Tony Romo? not awesome.

Me? I'm stuck wishing for the return of the Purple People Eaters...

I AM ALWAYS READY FOR FOOTBALL ! ! !

(High School and NCAA/College)

Not much of a pro fan, but will take what I can get when I need it... and I always need it!!

I couldn't agree with jkeithrussell and rjwolfe more. He has completed what was requirred of him by the courts, let him have a chance. Personally I think some pro athletes (celebrities in general) have done much worse and received less punishment. Stallworth runnin over man while drunk for example and gets 24 days jailtime. Thats a joke.

As far as Tony Romo got to remember this is his 4th year as starter coming up. How long do most qbs play before making playoffs much less winning playoff game. Peyton Manning 6 years before winning playoff game 0-2 (4 years not making playoffs). Eli Manning started 0-2. Romo also 0-2.

With all the hype on Romo you would think he was like 0-10 or something.

But Donte Stallworth kills a human being while driving drunk and gets a 30 day suspended sentence?
I agree whole heartedly that Stallworth's sentence was a joke. But let us remember that no matter your comparing apples to bananas, Vick with forethought and malice planed and carried out his dog fighting, Vick's crime was premeditated, he drowned or electricuted the dogs that did not measure up to his idea of a fighter . Stallworth should have gotten a stiffer sentance but he did not with forethough plan to kill anybody, his was a crime of stupitity not malice.
