Beautiful kits like that dressed in beautiful wood and finished like you did look better to me than a Kitless, clipless fountain pen with plastic threading that you're always worried about breaking.

So it just dawned on me that you've changed your background from the stump!

My signature stump!

Yeah, some folks at the FB group Jury-Image-Evaluation suggested a plain background is preferable for that purpose. I don't like it because of all the dust it shows which then has to be photoshopped, and because the pens roll away from the camera. So the stump will be back. But I'll use a plain black background if I think the shot might get used to apply to shows.
