Alligator Juniper birdseye burl and Desert Ironwood bottle stopper blanks

These are all 1 1/2" square and 5" long, 10 to the box, $25 plus $11 shipping for a SFR box set "2

It does not appear that the blanks can be five inches long if the width is 1 1/2. Is five inch length correct?
My photos often look stubbier after I crop them, but I certainly am not expert in photography.
