I haven't posted anything here for a while, but I've been slowly working on kitless skills. I finished this one not so long ago. It's a Bock #6 nib. The Material is Blue Spell (unfortunately no longer available) from Exotic Blanks, with ebonite ring. The top of the cap had a big flaw, so I hollowed It out and put some opal in with CA.

Great looking pen! I need to get busy and start working on kitless myself. I have everything I need including a couple of sizes of triple start taps and dies, but I just haven't made the leap yet. - Dave

PS I like your username - I did the same, but I added my first initial to mine.
 
Nice "save" with the finial! It adds a nice touch of color. Thanks for sharing your pen. I am also crawling down the kitless path. Next step for me is figuring out clips. Yours looks great.

No time like the present! It's not hard, but can be frustrating at times. I still need to work more to get it down to a consistent set of measurements.

Putting my the first letter of my first name after my username wouldn't work as well as yours!

There really aren't many distastrous mistakes in pen making, if you can patch things up and make it all look like it was intentional. I don't have the materials, tools, know-how or desire to make the clips (they are from Beaufort Ink), but it took a bit of practice to get them installed correctly. I did a couple of other pens to work out how to do it (It's a threaded end cap) and to figure out the correct diameter of the clip's ring to get the proper diameter of the pen.
