If you had a one year old jet 1221 vs that you wanted to sell fairly quickly, what you you ask for it?

Just with stock accessories. Excellent condition.


They haven't been around long enough to get a good used set value range.

I would pay $350 to $400 (if I needed one). This is my personal logic: I rather wait for the 20% off sale and get it new from a store that I can return it to if something goes wrong. I wouldn't know how to fix one myself if it had to be repaired. I believe that is a sufficient discount to compensate me for the risk. But what I am willing to pay has nothing to do with the rest of the world.
 
When "all" were offering the typical 15% off (when I bought mine from Rockler), Peachtree Woodworking was offering 20%. I didn't know it at the time.

I live with 20 miles of three WW stores...sometimes they try to compete with either.
 
Don't know if selling or not selling, but with MAPG coming up, it may be a good time to make a deal with both parties attending MAPG - no shipping :-)
 
My experience with used machinery is you typically start at the 1/2 price point and go up or down from there based on the condition of the machine and included accessories. This applies to most larger machines but can vary if demand is high.
