The request was for a Knurl GT that used a Pentel Rollerball refill the customer liked to use in her nursing job. The conversion ended up being pretty simple.
First: replace the stock 3/8 tube with one cut to a length of 3.5 inches.
Second: turn and assemble pen as normal replacing the stock return spring with a spring for the Le Roi Elegant Click Pen and the Parker refill with a Pentel EnerGel refill.
Note: not sure the Pentel EnerGel is a true Rollerball, but the refill dimensions are the same. Key difference is the ink in these refills does not tend to dry out like a standard Rollerball. This is important for a twist pen application.
