So a few years ago now, I made some pens for a husband and wife whom I met on another board. VisExp was on there with me at one time. But I believe he had left by then. Anyways, the lady's husband had been deployed to Iraq for over a year. And on the occasion of him coming home I sent a pen to him and her as a thank you for his service.

Today, I get a box in the mail. It is full of Lego blocks. Hundreds of $s worth. So just remember, you reap what you sow can be good too. All you folks sending pens to troops and other folks just because. One day (maybe years later) the favor will be returned.

That's really great Hans. Troops, pens, all great stuff, but nothing compares to large amounts of Lego! I grew up on that stuff, it's like crack for kids. I Lego'd so much my parent made me go outside and play. Outside I played with the dinky cars. I actually used a dinky car bucket loader to build the trans-backyard highway. I had highways and back roads trenched and gridded all through the entire back yard and when my dad saw what I had done he about had a heart attack. You'd think he'd have some appreciation as to just how much work it is to build that much road with a 1/2" wide plastic bucket loader!!! .
