Thank you one and all. This group and all your antics, conversations, wonderful pens and information have really helped me get through a bit of a rough spot.

I have a job that I have been at for a year that has turned really rotten in the last 6 months. Mind you, I work for a small company that is run by a guy I have known for 15 years. Not well enough! He is a "bit" psycotic and is a terrible manager. Being the number two guy hasn't been easy, I have been a very convienient punching bag for all his shortcomings. Long and short, it has been a really terrible 6 months. First lurking, then joining this group was a real blessing. I could jump in the site on a lunch break or for couple of minutes here or there, and it really helped me get through it.

I have just accepted a new job, no minor miracle in this market.

So thanks for all you share and post...........

Tim, I am glad things are looking up for you. I haven't suffered the problems you have had for the past 6 months, but nevertheless, the IAP forum has afforded me much quality information, quality entertainment, and the chance to "meet" quality people. Go IAP!!

Tim,

I had a rough day today and was feeling sorry for myself. Hearing what you have endured made me realize how lucky I am.

Thank you for your kind and inspiring words. I am happy for you that you are out of a miserable situation and have a new job. I hope it is everything you desire.

Always glad to hear we are serving SOME useful purpose (besides having a heck of a good time!!)

Hope your new job allows you to look forward to each new day. Life CAN be wonderful!

Tim,

Glad to be of service. You made me think how lucky I happen to be, I've enjoyed a great life with good friends through out my lifetime, a great wife for the last 37 years ( lets forget the 1st. wife of 11 years) loving children and grand children and been self employed for most of my life so if I had a problem with the boss I would have a good talking to myself and usually got over it. And three years ago hooked up with the IAP and made a bunch of very close cyber friends.
I hope this new venture turns out for you, and your family. As Ed but it "Life can be Wonderful".

You didn't mention if the most important perk was part of your new job. Checking IAP!

I hear rumors that they are going to install a new web monitoring software here. If that happens I'm in deep doo doo.

Good for you! This is the best bunch of folks on the planet. Always feels like family around here especially the occasional squabble. hope things continue to get better. You know Gorham is pretty darn close to OOB we should get together and swap tall tales.

I hope I have access, if not, it will be an evening thing, and that would be to bad, not hearing about pirates passing gas and all in real-time.

I'm a lucky guy, the IT guy who's in charge of monitoring internet usage and reporting at our company is a fellow penturner ....
