Finally! As some of you know, I was laid off from work last June 11th. I have been looking ever since, but haven't found anything as most companies really don't want to hire a 61 year old man, even if he has 40 years experience.

But, as luck would have it, I start back to work MONDAY, March 1st. LOML is so happy to get rid of me she is dancing the jig and calling my boss the best person in the world!

The best part, is they don't really want me doing much, just teaching what I know to their employees, and giving the owners and managers advise on how best to do things. They do expect me to join the contract negotiating team and help in that way, but I even get to pretty well set my own hours.

I am excited! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

:biggrin::biggrin:Don't tell them all you know, too quickly!!!!:biggrin::biggrin:

Congratulations, Rob!!

It's amazing how companies will go out and hire consultants, efficiency experts, and pay them huge $$$.... and you know what they do .... they talk to the workers and ask them what they should do to make the company better.
Sounds like your company came around to making a good decision.... finally!
Best of Luck!

Congrats Rob!

My boss hired an efficiency firm to tell him how to improve his company. They told him he was the problem.:) They said that his people know what they are doing. Leave them alone and let them do it. Stay in the office!:rolleyes:
