Been out all morning running errands. Low and behold, I get home and there is 2 packages at my door. First one is from Wolftat. Looks like I know have plenty of Abranet. Second one was from Johnny CNC. Was Junior Gent and Cigar bushings. As I looked deeper in the box, I found a very nice Tool Rest that actually fits my Rikon Lathe. Looks like there'll be some turning once the sun goes down.

Ron, Abranet only goes to 600 grit, BUT it kicks butt on sand paper, it doesn't clog up, and lasts a long time. If you use MM you only need the Abranet up to 400 since that's about where Micro Mesh starts

Congratulations Ernie! I have received packages from both of those guys and, they are not selfish. You will enjoy ALL the products you've received from each one. The bushings are awesome and, as Ken says the abranet kicks butt.

I plan to go out and run errands tomorrow morning!!!:biggrin::wink:

Lenny,
my errands consisted of a Fountain Pen Group meeting and Touring the town with my new camera. Not a bad morning's worth of work.

And the pics were pretty dam cool too!

Can you use this abranet stuff wet? Most of my pens are acrylic and i wet sand everything pretty much. I might have to get some!! hmmmmmm. the light bulbs start getting brighter!

Ron, I only use them wet on anything but wood. I really like using them. Even when not wet sanding, it seems to me that it decreases the amount of heat generated on the blank. But could be all the CA fumes i've been subjected too causing delusions.:)
