I'm working with a new company for some of my colors. Their stock stuff is incredible and they have a lab to customize to any spec. They are sending some samples for testing along with a color chart.

If things go well, might see some of these available to the casters. For right now though, I just want to test them. I'll update as things progress.

No tints or dyes, but there are solid, transluscent, and pearl-ex colors.
I was told there are over 500 colors in stock and any color imaginable can be created in their lab.
Yes, I'm expecting several "true reds"... none of the burgundy, purple, orange colored reds.

Color chart is on it's way. I'll scan some of the colors in and post them if there is any interest in seeing them.

When are we going to be able to get into their website? How soon will these colors become available to us?

I haven't been casting since the heat was terrible in my shop. It's just started cooling down the past couple weeks and now I'm waiting on other things. I'll get back to casting soon and they will be available after the stock builds up.

Are you wanting the colorants or the blanks with the new colors? Either way, I'm still waiting on the color chart and samples. After that, hopefully not long. I'll post any progress. Watch for RED.

You guys are a laugh a minute. LET THE FORCE BE WITH YOU...that's really groovy.

????????
I think he was reading Akula's signature line. Either that, or "TRUE RED" doesn't mean what I think it means. :)

On another note, put me down for wanting some pearl X type pigments. It would be nice to have some greens & blues that cure at about the same rates as the other colors. I love the green blanks, but casting them with other colors is a real pain. And I to would like some real red and orange colors.

I have high hopes for the reds. I explained what I was looking for and he popped off 8 reds that he thought would be acceptable.

The oranges I already have, were discontinued by the manufacturer. However, this new company has an orange I seen and... wow. I hope all their stuff has the same shock factor.

I think information must be shared... because I was contacted by another company. I have more samples on their way and with this company, I have access to every chameleon color made. From a quick calculation (not actually counting) they appear to have around 300 colors amoung 20 catagories.

Time to get some resin ordered.
I think I'm going to need the 55gal. drum.
