Hello Hugo, Sorry I can't help you about WoodWrite as I haven't dealt with them. Just wanted to say Hi as I lived in Gauteng for many years. Wish we had your weather right now, thats for sure.[:(]
I'm sure someone here will be able to put you in touch with them.

You have been a member here a lot longer than me, so why so few posts?

I would have written this in Afrikaans, but I haven't spoken it in 10 years and can't remember how to spell most of the words[:I]

Cheers

I use the Turners magic. I have been happy with it. It is basically a lacquer. You can also buy this product from Penn State. It is item # PKFRICT2. It is a good idea to first use the Shelac sealer item # PKFRICT3. Woodwrite makes the product for PSI, but it is cheaper from Woodwrite.

Hugo, They have an 800 series number here. I have no idea whether our free call system works overseas or not, but I doubt it..........

Perhaps one of us could call them for you? PM me with your order details or questions if you'd like and I will try to help as best I can.[:)]

I have dealt with them many years ago (before they changed ownership) when they were selling reasonable priced TiGold kits. However, I got once a delivery of European style pens and the little finial rings did not match with the finial or the pen. I called and got the old, former, owner on the phone who was giving me an ear full about his employees were cleaning him out while he was in the hospital. Well, it took several more calls to this (at the time) very unfriendly and not very customer-oriented company to receive a replacement. This was the last time I dealt with them, about 5 years ago. Also, their plating was not very uniform.

THANK YOU guys!!!! (Thumbs), but I got a response (via email) back from them this morning (Friday).
I'll see how it goes from now, but thank you Thumbs, I was hoping to go the direction you were talking about.

I'm trying different ways of finishing my pens. I've STOP using CA glue for 2 reasons, allergic reactions and it's like playing golf.............I'll get it perfectly right 5 times and totally mess it up the next 2 times.

I've tried lacquer spraying and also 'dipping'........... does work, but I'm still battling with it. So that's why I want to go the 'Turners magic' way.
