Every body that has Woodchuck tools ordered will be getting them a few days later than promised, it turns out that the tick bite that I originally went to the Dr. for gave me Rocky Mountain Spotted tick fever, fortunately my Dr. started me on antibiotics as well as the meds for the shingles which she originally thought was what was wrong, (Not that the stress of making the new finisher tool has any thing to do with it, I write the code in my sleep)
I thought that the blood tests were just the usual 3 month liver panel and cholesterol, but Thursday evening they called to tell me that I had tested positive for tick fever, I guess I shouldn't have Pissed the wife off and had to sleep in the dog house, (not only that but the dog wouldn't share the blanket), Odd thing is, I don't live in the rocky mountains, strange part is the rash formed on my right side and stomach but the tick bite was in the back of my leg.
If you were expecting a tool to be delivered this week, it probably won't happen until next Wednesday or Thursday or so.
I have one of my students coming over to help this Saturday, so all of the tools will be mailed by Tuesday. I am very sorry for this delay, as most of you know, it's worth the wait.
My wife even volunteered but I don't want her on a milling machine, even just loading parts.

Sure sounds a lot more like shingles than a tick fever, but I am not a doctor. Take it easy on yourself and everything will come together before you know it. I can't say I've ever even seen a tick. They must not be a problem here where I live. Racoons, Deer and Groundhogs must have eaten them all. I had another of those dang coons in my garage today. I shot him 9 times with my high power pellet gun. I've dropped coons and groundhogs at 200 ft with this gun, it's 1200 fps! Some of the pellets I heard them go right through the coon into the wall. I even got off an almost point blank shot right through his head. Darn thing just kept hiding and bleeding like a stuck pig all over my garage. Finally was able to poke him out of a tight spot and he ran out the door and across the field like nothing was wrong. Pretty sure he's headed south...your way!
