One of the ladies in my office mentioned that she had a few holly trees that she would like to get rid of.

So, being the kind hearted boss that I am, I offered to come cut the trees. I told her I would even take away the pieces that we too large for the city to pick up.

So this morning, my dad and I showed up with chain saws. Here is what we brought home.

I will probably be cutting some of this and offering here (as soon as the USPS can replenish my box supply). If interested, feel free to send me a PM.

Quickly learn how to dry them or get them to a kiln very soon. It is winter now, which is the best time to cut them (or fall). Sap in holly can cause it to turn gray within 30 days to 6 weeks. Freezing fresh cut blank in a freezer until needed can help but it can also cause white holly to yellow. My name is Wasted Experience!
