A friend had some wood for me to pick up last week.. a wild cherry tree her neighbor was cutting... I got as much as I could load on my little truck. This week she had a hackberry her husband was taking down. It was a smaller load so I got some more of the cherry too.
This is what I got.. some of it is eaten up by ants and between the ants and mosquitos it was tough loading the hackberry. In one of the pictures, a couple of pieces of cherry are stacked on some oak that I got from another friend. There's a burl on the oak I have to get into this coming week now that I'm about all set up for my exhibition this Friday.
