Hi all,
Had a visitor today. Scott King (Blind Squirrel) came by for a visit. We had a wonderful chat. He's a heck of a nice guy. We traded some tips and tricks, traded some blanks and traded a pen with each other. He came all the way from Chesapeake, Va just to see me, in Arizona. What a great guy. I'm kidding, he is here visiting relatives. Nice to meet a fellow turner.
Here we are in my dining room. I'm on the right. Hope you don't mind my posting your picture Scott. I should have asked you while you were here.

Steve,

Thanks for the warm welcome into your home and the nice "parting gifts" you bestowed on me! I was hoping you would put the pic of us up! :)

If anyone ever gets a chance to stop by and visit with Steve, DO IT! He is one heck of a nice guy, and he has a WONDERFUL pen collection. I learned a LOT (double casting here I come!) just chatting with him.

Thank you Scott. It was a pleasure having you. There never seems to be enough time though. There is always something you forget or don't have time to talk about. Of course theres always next time.
Hope to see some great work on the double cast front. Like you saw, the results speak for themselves.
