I wanted to get in a shameless plug for Wolftat. This guy really delivers the goods!! I just got a box in with the 22 photochromics I ordered. The blanks are just awesome. Some of the best I have seen from Neil. I just know the pens are going to be KILLER.

Now when I order, I like to toss in some extra ca$h and let him select some goodies from his wood stash and send them. So I sent an extra $25. I never know what the heck he will send.

He sent 4 JUMBO Box Elder Burl blanks... PRIMO burls. And a slab that will produce 2 luscious JUMBO Black Ash Burl blanks. A big slab of nice Camphor which makes the whole box smell nice and will produce several very lovely pens.

Then he tosses in a Cholla acrylic blank... a Pinecone acrylic... a Worthless wood acrylic, and two photochromic test blanks. One of them is going to be a home run and the other who knows what the heck is inside that thing.

This guy rocks the house!! You can't go wrong with Wolftat stuff. I vouch for him 100%.

Good job Bree. I've received many boxes from Neil and, Have to agree ......Awesome blanks ! My problem is,making a decision as to which blank to turn :redface: He's a great guy !

I would agree Wolftat has some amazing stuff and you will never be disappointed by him. Even when something beyond his control goes wrong he makes sure that it is taken care of.

I need to get an increase in my allowance soon, I am running low on his blanks.

Looks like he is selling a bunch from the same batch as mine and has them on sale now. If the peeps don't buy them I will, since I see exactly what they will be getting cuz I have at least one from just about each batch. They last forever so it's like $$$ in the bank. They are always the most popular when I show off my acrylic pens.

There are a couple there that are hot as a pistol but you can't tell from the PIX. I know though cuz I have the batch mates. LOL! I will give it a day and if the peeps don't buy I will grab them!! Trying to be fair to my fellow pen turners... but there are limits to my fairness!! LOL!!

Bree for a cranky old Marine Neil is a pretty decent guy!! I wish I had time to turn pens, some of his new Photochromics look great. and you're right about the camphor, when I made my Woodchuck handle from a piece of Camphor he sent me my shop smelled good for a couple of days.

Careful people. I think Neil's head is big enough. He may not be able to fit thru doors if you keep it up.

I have a bunch of his blanks but just have not had the time to clean the shop out to have room for me to work in. Can't wait to turn them. Need some more kits also.

I have the added benifit of having him as the local chapter president and know him personally.

but there are limits to my fairness!! LOL!!

 YOU !! Wouldn't you give us a little more time ???? That's OK, I know I can get more

LOL! That darn camphor is so nice that you never want to turn it!! I don't want to cover the scent with CA!! I wish you could see the Camphor crotch slabs that he sent me a couple of orders back... small bowl size slabs... just stunning. I don't know where he finds all this stuff.

One thing is certain the ole jarhead knows how to get the top timber!
