This is a new kit for me. It's a Wingman from Turner's Warehouse. This is similar in size to a cigar pen. I like that I could knock the finial out (see warning below) and make my own. It's pretty obvious that this one is Olive wood, courtesy of a Home Goods cutting board.

Here it is "glued" back together?
I had to file out some shredded metal before doing this. I do love my Dremel. Wish me luck with that one.

*Tech notes
- I have no clue what diameter bushings the upper barrel takes, but I didn't have any that fit it, so I just put the brass tube between centers and carved carefully. (I almost never buy bushings any more, but just use whatever fits in the tubes to turn down close to finished size and then go TBC with calipers to finish the job. It's one less thing to lose, right?)
- There is a "sleeve" inside the upper assembly, as seen in the first 2 pictures, that slides over the transmission.
- There is a lip in that sleeve.
- If you use a transfer punch to knock out the finial, make sure you have a small enough diameter to clear the lip or you will destroy it like I did.
- The gold one in the other pictures is the one I trashed. (Stay tuned to see if that one turns out OK after the JB Weld patch)
