Just getting ready to open a bottle of Andretti Merlot. While looking at the nice color I began wondering if you could use the wine to color PR or Clear Alumilite? Been a long hard week caring Grandkinds and their dogs and our dogs and was just getting ready to sit down and relax. Would probably use cheap Gallo instead of Andretti Merlot ($18).

I am sure you are not serious but if you are, don't even consider it with Alumilite! Wine has a high % of water and would not work at all!

Yea I am a little tired after 3 weeks of the grandkids and the extra dogs. I did enjoy a couple of glasses of good wine though. Never thought about moisture content of wine and the reaction with Alumilite. I will just get some dye made for it.

I love Merlot, and I don't care if it is cheap Gallo or Andretti. Room temperature and in a nice large tumbler, please.
