to visit my folks in Clearwater for Dads 88th birthday and plan to spend a little time in my home town of Tampa. Don't know how much time I'll have but if anyone would like a cup of coffee or lunch I might:wink: spring for it. I'll be there from July 23rd to the 27th.

Steve, sounds great, I'll keep you posted, Jeff in a word NO! You must show up to partake of the Cuban coffee , Cuban sandwiches and the Deviled crab at the Silver Ring Café in Ybor City, Yummy
 
Roy, it would be great to get to meet you. I'm clear across the State on the Atlantic side though. I'd like to keep in touch and if there is any way I can make the drive I will do so. As well as meeting you, Cuban coffee and Cuban sandwiches in Ybor City are a pretty powerful motivator. :biggrin:
 
Hey Roy that is my neck of the woods. Clearwater is just about 20 miles south of me. It would be nice to get a little group together and put some faces on the avatars.

Now come on Chuck, that one is petty simple! The front of course. You get the best view, Nice breeze in your hair, plenty of protein to munch on and of course, if we run into anything you keep the front of the car from getting messed up!!!:eek::biggrin::biggrin::eek::cool:

If the Love Bugs are out, wash the car often. If you have a pet, keep it close to you, alligators need food too.
 
Hey I am in, I don't do many shows in the summer so I'm sure I am free that week. and remember the steam bath and light show are on us. Let me know when it get close. I am also a transplant from the N.E. via El Paso, and still trying to get use to the afternoon storms.

I'm not sure what my schedule holds for that weekend but I'd sure like to go over to have lunch with Roy.
Keep me in mind for this one. Keith, maybe we can caravan over.
 
I think I have my itinerary set and it seems like Sunday the 26th. will be the best day for me to meet with you'll. If any one can meet in either Ybor city at the Tropicana Restaurant or the Silver Ring Café LMK and I'll be there for Cuban sandwiches , deviled crabs and socializing. I'll PM all who said they might be able to make it.

I've been informed that the La Tropicana is closed on Sunday, so have made arrangements for Sat. the 25th.

Well today I took my Dad to Ybor City where he had a store for 20 years and stopped for lunch at one of his favorite spots. We were met there by Roddesigner (John) and Bruce 119 (yes you guessed it Bruce.) Both were just great and to meet. Bruce thanks loads for the $$$$$Blanks.

Well It's always great to meet some of the folks here ON IAP. Thanks for lunch Roy. We had a fine time chatting and not just all pens, I know what else is there :wink:

I don't know why you had to do this at a time when I'm traveling so much.
Couldn't you ask your Dad to switch his birthday to November or something?!?

Roy, I'm sorry I couldn't make the drive across state and meet you :mad: I ended up working all day Saturday trying to wrap up a big job. I'm glad to hear you guys had a good lunch and I hope the rest of your trip in Florida goes well.
