I spent about an hour trying to figure this out my self, so telling me to click the "help" tab, will only set my eye to twitching. no sense spending any more time, when someone here is bound to know the easy answer. here it is... I am trying to add pay-pal buttons to my new web site. I fill out the name and description and then get walled by the question of wieght. I figure thes pens aint real heavy. I have tried typing the wieght in a dozen different ways...lbs Lbs lbs. oz oz. ounces...etc. it keeps telling me I am using incorrect charecters, but it won't fricken tell me the right way to do it. AARRRRGGG!! does anyone know what I'm talking about?

you don't need the weight unless you're going to use the paypal to figure postage... I don't use any weights on my paypal button and they work fine.

I don't use the "weight" having PayPal figure it. I just charge a flat rate. Don't have to mess with the weight in PayPal's "setup."

Matter of fact, once you get one of those "Pay Now" or "Add it Cart" buttons on your website, you don't have to go through the PayPal deal for ever item. Just copy one of those buttons in your site and place it by the next item. Then when you rightt click on that button while editing your website, click on "Properties" and you will see in their gibberish your product name, description, and price.

If you have a number of "Gentleman's Pen" and change description according to type of wood and price, just change the wood type and price as needed for the next item. Okay it and the new "Pay Now" type button will have the new info for that next item.

Same here. I use a flat rate for postage regardless how many pens someone buys. I can easily fit 5 pens in the $4.80 flat rate box and figure if someone buys more pens at once, the least I can do is pony up for the extra postage.

Sure makes working on the website easier as all the paypal code is the same.

I guess great minds do think alike... I do same thing.. you can even copy the button from one page of your site to another... I use a description, Item number and price that I have to change each time. I also drop a view cart button under each add to cart button..
