Isn't it every blank casters dream to have their significant other secretly go out and surprise you with a pressure pot??? Best part is that she wanted it just as badly as I did! Atleast now we won't fight over who gets to use the lathe first. Man, I am one lucky guy! It's also cool that I won some alumilite in the losers contest so I get to try that wallet drainer out now. Worst part is that we leave to visit my soon to be mother in law :eek: in Texas for a week and I won't have time to get it set up and try it :mad:. Oh well...I'm still getting married to a WONDERFUL woman!

That's great... Can we expect some worthwhile wood/alumilite blanks soon? I love the PR blanks I got from you, and I'd love to see what you could do with some scrap wood in that new pot.

oh man is everyone in for some stuff once I get back. I've been planning out some stuff with my scroll saw as well as casting scrap wood type stuff. I'm glad you're happy with the blanks you got from me (i'd love to see anything thats finished!) Once I get back I'm gonna lock myself in my shop for a couple days and hopefully come out with some really "WOW" material. You never know, I might use them as freebies for future purchases as tester blanks :wink:
 
It is always great when the LOYL in one way or another shares and interest. Mine is my biggest fan, and greatest source of encouragement.


Now, as for what comes out of the pressure pot, go ahead and put me down for 5-6 of them!!!!!:wink:

Sounds to me like you definitely have landed a keeper. Have a great trip visiting with the future inlaws.
 
My significant other goes "that's nice dear", on the other hand one of these days Im going to dig that old Binks pressure pot out form under that pile of stuff I have and sell it so I can buy more blanks. Havent got to turn the ones I bought from you yet but Im about to do one of the red ones for sure.

I'd love to see it when it's finished. Also...if and when you're wanting to sell that binks give me a shout. Ya never know what I'll be able to talk her into buying next :wink:
