Think you've got the skills to turn a innovative pen? The slimline challenge is accepting entries, and the prizes are top of the line.

1st - $100 CDN Gift Certificate compliments of William Woodwrite - penblanks.ca
2nd - 1 sample pack of exotic woods from South Africa compliments of Zambezi Exotics
Most Innovative - 3 Ebonite blanks. 2 black and one black/yellow swirl compliments of Russianwolf.

If you think you're up to the challenge, head over and read the guidelines:

just to tease, here's what the ebonite looks like, and you never know what else may fall off the bench into the envelope.

IF you win the ebonite and you'd like to have a nice night alone at home, start turning it.

GUARANTEE your wife and kids will run from the house screaming

oOOOOOHJhhOfhhhahhhhh WHAT
STINKS???

Here is a picture of the "Taste of Africa" sample pack from Zambezi Exotics

From L to R: Wild Olive, Tambotie, African Blackwood, Sneezewood, Knob Thorn, White Stinkwood, Black Alder (Quar), Silky Oak, Pink Ivory, Coastal Red Milkwood.

I ordered some of Keith's blanks some time ago. I have turned a few --- I have some GORGEOUS pens.

His pink ivory is the best I have ever turned (and I have turned dozens of pink ivory pens - before I even knew about the IAP).

This is a PRIZE that is worth far more than it's dollar value --- I'd like to win it!!!!
(But I agreed not to be eligible for contests!! --- somebody GO GET IT!!!!)

I was hoping the ebonite was going to be in some contest I could enter. I was really going to try to win it. Not saying I would have one it but I would have tried.
